In order to take advantage of many of these warranty options, you do need to be purchasing a new BMW or a certified pre-owned BMW from a recognized dealer. Many of the technology-based features (including the inDrive computer and real time traffic updates) are only available on the newest BMW 3 Series and other new lines.
